Sunrise Horse Farm needs your help
Grimms, Wisconsin – (Within a stone’s throw of Reedsville)
Sunrise is a horse farm that helps kids feel more secure in life. The farm aims to reach out to area children and teens who have experienced hard times and need a place to be accepted and find hope. The volunteer staff at Sunrise Horse Farm desire to pass along their passion for lost hearts, in hopes that through our facility, the horses can provide healing to those who desperately need it. Sunrise Horse Farm is a non-profit organization that depends upon the generosity of people who enjoy helping others.
Sunrise is always looking for responsible young people to help with the chores and other maintenance duties on the farm. Our Group Volunteer Registration Form will explain the various opportunities to help support Sunrise Horse Farm. We hope that your heart is touched by our purpose, and that you take the time to consider being one of our helpers.
Sunrise Horse Farm is a haven of hope for youth. Come and join us!!

Horse Bowl and Hippology and Speaking Contest
May 11-12, UW Marathon, Wausau
The speaking and demonstration contests, typically held during Expo in September, have been moved to Friday, May 11, 6:00 pm-9:00 pm, in conjunction with Horse Bowl and Hippology Contests. We are hoping this will generate some more interest in these contests as opposed to the youth trying to fit in during Expo. Additional information will be posted to the State Horse webpage at http://www.uwex.edu/ces/4h/onlinpro/horses.cfm.
